I don't know if you heard about it or not but Schoolly D is back on the block for a live concert in the UK and Netherlands. He will be performing at the Shine festival in Eindhoven. It's a open air festival feat. several artists including DJ's, reggea artists and emcees. There also will be grafity and a market. So be there on the 11th of august, the centre of Eindhoven. title is Funk and Pussy. There are 16 tracks on this CD. The tracks are: Yah mean, Our own
style, Seven-Eleven, Do it do it (live with DJ KID SWIFT on the turntables), Make your
money, Funkvibe get loose, Can you feel it, Yes Yes Yall, DooDooButt, Funk and Pussy, Me
and my sistas, Achydick, Get butt naked, Mr. Big Dick (2000), Techno funk and a Yahmean

Schoolly D has released a new 12"
it's the track "yes yes y'all" and it's taken from the soundtrack "Once in
the life." For this track Schoolly uses his voice in a very strange way, he rhymes
slow his voice is very low.... I don't know how to put it... BUT buy it it's very good and
funky. This wil be the new style in 2010, that's for the people that underate Schoolly for
develloping this music. It's a double A-side 12" the other performing artist is KRS
ONE, his track is titled "Shadup ya face". |

Unfortunatly Schoolly couldn't make it
to the Back to the planet rock festival, 'cause of some family matters. But his DJ, Kid
Swift, put down a good show with some excellent turntable trickery... Also got some other
good news at least that's what I hope.. The Funk and Pussy album is going to be released
on october 24th 2000....it will be out on Chord (records).... |
