Teen idol Leonardo DiCaprio has made billions swoon, but that's apparently not enough for him to be memorialized in wax. The star, who'll get a reported $21 million for the upcoming American Psycho (stolen off Christian Bale, ahem), hasn't made the short list for Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in London.

"We make about 10 new figures each year, so it's very important that we choose people who we think are going to last for a while," a museum spokesman told the Agence France-Presse.
(See, I'm not the ONLY one that thinks that!)

Does that mean they think lovely Leo's just a flash in the pan?

"We have an ongoing list of people we are considering and a 'go' list of those we actually approach. He hasn't quite made it there yet," added the spokesman.

Who exactly is on this "go" list? Well, the legendary tourist attraction recently made a wax figure of Cybill Shepherd, whose sitcom was just unceremoniously dumped by CBS. Shepard was hailed as "the first American television comic actress to be included." Somewhere, Lucille Ball is weeping.

DiCaprio's publicist would not comment on the wax museum's snub.
