Hi. I'm Dave.
This page features my songs and other music in Real Audio audio-streaming files as well as artwork and photos. There's also some interesting linguistic information about languages like Cherokee and Arabic. (Well, about their scripts, really, more than the languages themselves).
I'm from Provo, Utah and if you click here you can see a drawing of the mountains in my parents' backyard.
I used to work for Language Analysis Systems, Inc. in Herndon, VA near Washington, DC. Click here to find out more about that job and what it was I used to do. It had to do with multi-cultural name searching, and it was pretty neat. I now work for LOGICON in Battle Creek, Michigan. I'll be adding a few things about that sometime in the future. Hopefully soon.

Some of my interests are: photography , songwriting, foreign languages, Novial (Otto Jespersen's constructed language of the 1920s which a group of us is currently revising and preparing for re-release soon), Esperanto, gardening, foreign films, and music. This page will eventually contain music clips, photographs , artwork, and short stories. Incidentally, any of the above items which are high-lighted as links are now working links.
Eventually, I plan to have a section with short stories from various languages accompanied by my English and Novial translations. In the meantime, e-mail me at dave@languages-of-the-world.us if you have any suggestions.
