LIFE AFTER DEATH:A Heavenly Experience

Kevin felt himself falling, and he cried out. When he opened his eyes,he was lying flat on his back on the floor of his bedroom. He sat up quickly, and glanced around. His room was empty. She was gone.Had he been dreaming this whole time? About the accidents....the storm...the hospital?
He grabbed the phone from the dresser by the bed and dialed Brian and AJ's apartment. It rang twelve times and he didn't get an answer. He tried Howie's parent's home next. Still no answer.Nick's number was the last one he dialed. When he didn't get an answer, he grabbed his shirt and started for his car. He felt his pockets for his keys...and came up with nothing.
He didn't remembering where he put them...or when he had them last. Closing his eyes,he walked out into the bright sun. He slid the shirt over his head, and then sighed and walked back into the house.
"Looking for me?," he shouted as he turned to find her standing next to the window in the livingroom.
"I thought I was dreaming. How did I get home?," he asked. She smiled, and shrugged,"Kevin,if home is the first place you think of when you go to sleep, then home is where you'll be."
"But I don't get it...all those horrible accidents....the storm...the hospital....did any of it happen?," he asked, as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.She nodded, and glanced through the curtains up to the sky outside. Then she turned back to him,"It all happened. You didn't imagine it...is that what you thought? That you were having a horrific nightmare that you finally woke up from?"
He shrugged,and scratched his forehead,"Why can't I find my keys?And the guys aren't home....why do I feel so strange?"
She laughed, and walked over to him.She put her hand on his arm,and he felt some sort of relaxation take place within his mind,"Kevin, you'll know the answers to your questions soon enough. But for now...close your eyes.Where do you want to be now?"

His eyes snapped open and he gasped. He was standing in the middle of the hospital lobby. She turned to him,a worried expression on her face,"Kevin, this isn't the time.We shouldn't have come here yet..."
"But why? I was here yesterday...or this morning...I remember being here," he said, walking away from her. She grabbed his arm, looking panicked.
"No,Kevin...this isn't safe," she said, pulling him towards the exit. He pulled away from her, confused,"I don't know who you are...how do you know who I am?," she stepped back from him and a sad look overshadowed her beautiful gray eyes.
"I know who you are...he sent me for you," she whispered,"And my name is Celeste."
"Someone sent you for me?Who?," he asked. She sighed, and looked somewhat nervously around her,"Kevin,I can't answer all of your questions yet. That is why I'm here.I will guide you to the answers that you seek....but we can't be here right now."
As she started to protest, he turned and ran away. He heard he calling out to him again, and then he froze. There sat his family...and Brian... Nick,Howie and AJ...as his face broke into a smile,he ran towards them. But the looks on their faces were so sad...as if some one had died.He stood next to his mother, who was bent over in tears. He put a hand on her shoulder, and leaned down towards her.
"Mom?," she didn't answer, and she didn't look up. He called out to her again....and nothing happened. Then, his heart gave a nervous skip. He walked over to Brian, and looked down at his cousin. Brian didn't move as Kevin said his name once..twice..even a third time brought no change. He heard Celeste call out to him again,as he walked towards the hospital door. When he saw himself lying on the hospital bed,the machine flatlining in the background,he screamed for what he thought was an eternity.
When he opened his eyes,he was clutching blades of freshly cut grass. He looked up at the sky,as tears fell from his eyes."No....no...NO!,"he cried out, flinging his arms and collapsing in tears.
"Kevin...," she whispered. Her arms wrapped around his trembling shoulders and he sobbed as he leaned on her for support. When he opened his red and swollen eyes, they landed on the gray slab of cement that stood in front of him. He read his father's name across the tombstone, and he felt his breath drain out of him.
