It seemed like the whole world froze. When you know someone as well as these two boys knew each other,you let down your guard.You trust them with your life.You spend all your time together,and you know each other better than you know yourself.
"Brian?What do you say?," Johnny asked. The other guys were all thinking the same thing.They knew that it was Nick's decision to come back,but it had shaken their faith in him. Brian seemed to be a little more bothered by the whole ordeal,probably because he'd thought Nick was so similar to him.Brian would never think of leaving the band,and that was one thing that had changed for him and Nick.They weren't so similar anymore,not in Brian's eyes.
"Brian,come on.We've got a show to do," Howie urged,"We've got thousands of fans cheering for us."
"Donna,send the opening act out for an encore," Johnny called. Brian turned away from the group.
"Take a few minutes,warm up a little," Johnny instructed.
The opening act came and went. Their music started again,with the sound of the announcer's voice in their ears.Kevin heard his name being called. He turned to his cousin.
"Well?," was all he said.
Brian looked at Nick."If we're going to do this,we're doing it together. As a team."
Nick's face widened to a grin from ear-to-ear.
"As a family," AJ replied.
They formed a group hug as the crowd's chant got louder. Then they ran onto the stage and broke into song,with Nick right next to Brian onstage. He actually did all the dance steps,with a few problems every now and then. Then it was his turn to share the spotlight with Brian for "As Long As You Love Me". Laughing like little boys,they sang to each other and the crowd's screams echoed even after the concert was over.
Howie and Kevin were standing in the dressing room when they heard shouts from out in the hall. They snatched open the door to find Brian and Nick hosing AJ down with cans of whipped cream. Laughing as AJ ran by them to avoid anymore torture,the boys laughed.
"Things are definitely back to normal now," Howie said.
A SHORT AND SWEET ENDING TO A STORY THAT I THOUGHT
WAS LONG ENOUGH ALREADY! *LOL* So,Nick didn't leave the
