Through to you sound clip

Be patient. This clip takes a couple of minutes to load, but it's worth the wait.

This song is the only song I've ever written by building from a bass guitar part. I was trying to get a more upbeat feel than what I usually write, and I think starting from the bass really helped. I don't have an electric guitar, so I played around with the chorus pedal and the EQ on the acoustic guitar to try to emulate one. It worked out pretty well. I only wish I had the space on my server to get the whole song up. There is a lot more to it than you get on this one little clip.

Through to You
By TheBassist

Too many people in your head
Too many words that just shouldn't be said
Too many lyrics flowin' way too deep
Too many people and not enough sleep for me

I'm not cryin'
I'm not dyin'
I'm just tryin'
To get through to you

I don't know what to do to get through to you...(repeat)

Meetin' lots of people and feelin' real fine
Makin' a decision and then changin' your mind
The people on the corner don't remember your name
But I'm not playin' 'cause it's all the same to me

I'm not cryin'
I'm not dyin'
I'm just tryin'
To get through to you

I don't know what to do to get through to you...

Bop boddup baddah oom bop bah.......
