Da People Who Influenced Da Sound

This page is dedicated to the people who have influenced my style. I truly hold these artists dear to my heart!!!!!

I have followed many of these artists from their beginnings and I have sought to integrate all of them into my technique.

I must say that of all the people you might see on this page the most dear to me is Anita Baker. She has most significantly moved me and I hope someday to be able to thank her in person.

Da Influences

By far the greatest influence in my style. I sang "Been So Long" so much that it drove my mom crazy!!!!!!!!

I know what you're saying, "how do you integrate Anita Baker, Ella Fitzgerald and Mary J. Blige?" Well, it sure hasn't been easy.

Now add a touch of Whitney and a bit of Janet.

Some people say that

there's just a pinch of Teena.
