Chapter 2

"Wow, Nic, I love your dress, and your hair" Howie said, gently kissing her lips. "I'm gonna get lipstick on you" she said, laughing softly. "It doesnt matter" he said, kissing her again. "You look so handsome" she said. "Thank You, baby" he said, putting his arm around her. "Where are we going?" she asked. "It's a surprise" he said, blindfolding her. "Hey, what's this for?" she asked, confused. "I dont want you to know where we are going till we get there" he said, kissing her cheek. "What do you have planned?" she asked. "Something special" he said. He pulled up by the beach and lead Nicole out of the car. He lead her onto the beach and over to a picnic spread out on the sand. He took her blindfold off. "Howie, this is so sweet" she said, hugging him. He gently sat her down on the blanket. "Why did you go through all this trouble?" she asked. "You'll see" he said, feeding her some salad. After they had eaten, Howie took her hand and helped her up. "You want to walk down the beach?" he asked. "Sure" she said, brushing sand off her dress. "Liss had some crazy idea that you were going to propose tonight" Nicole said, looking up at Howie. "Well, We've been together for 3 years, of course she'd think that" Howie said. "You aren't?" she asked, looking dissapointed. "You'll find out" he said. They walked a little further, then Howie stopped. "What's wrong?" Nicole asked. "Nothing, I just wanted to talk to you." he said. "What about?" she asked. "You know I love you" he said. "I love you, too"she said. "And we've been together for a long time. You've become my whole world." he added, getting down on one knee. Nicole smiled, shaking a little. He gently took her hand in his. "Nicole, Will you marry me?" he asked.
