Chris Barnes, at the time a member, of the rising Cannibal Corpse, listened to some recordings, made by Allen West, then of Obituary. He liked, what he heard. West and Barnes, began rehearsing together. Terry Butler(formerly of the legendary band, Death) and Greg Gall(of Cianide) came into the picture, soon after. While the band, was touring,. Barnes was thrown out of Cannibal Corpse, for creative differences. Which, was just as well, since that simply let him focus full-time, on Six Feet Under. The band, soon released their album, Haunted. This was the beginning, of establishing them, as a major Death Metal force. Their momentum, was only increased by the release of their EP Alive and Dead. If they continue, to release albums, of this magnitude, and, continue their great live performances, they will continue to reign supreme, on the Death Metal heap.
Six Feet Under, is going to be releasing their new album, Warpath, at the end of August. Most likely to be filled, with more of the great songs, that have made Haunted and Alive and Dead works of art.
