"This next song was written in response to so much of the complacency and apathy that I saw goin' on in the community where I lived as soon as this fuckin' bullshit Gulf War broke out. All the families and all the families in my community were drivin' around in fuckin' rich neighborhoods with yellow ribbons, and all this patriotic bullshit stamped all over their foreheads!

Today the situation still stands and people are still being murdered in the name of Freedom! Wake up to your powers as an individual and speak out and act against imperialist actions like this! I've got to expose the hipocrisy in my own self, the consciousness of my own self, before I could ever stand up and speak for other individuals who are trying to do the same thing.
