BTW, I would like to ask FREAKS which is the rarest bootleg from Sting and from the Police. From Sting CD's I assume "All Thease Time" because I was looking for it for 1,5 years now. I'm happy that I've found it today on a small record fair. But what's about the Police ?

Erwin Kempen: Yes I also think that the "All thease time" cd is the rarest one, you can hardly find that one in Europe. The rarest by The Police will probably be the Metal box for "No Tittle" a very heavy metal box, looks just great, only 200 copies have been made. Do people like to know more about boot cd's ? Perhaps I write down all the Japanese Sting bootlegs?

There is also a new Spanish promo CD for sting's latest single. Perhaps Toni Carbo can give next week some more details about thisone ? (cataloque#, cover, songs)
Before The Police, Sting performed with another band called Last Exit. They were together from the period 1973 till late 1976, everybody will have heard the story from that point. Last Exit band members were : John Hedley (guitar), Gerry Richardson (keyboards), Ronnie Pearson (drums) and Gordon Sumner (bass).
The did a totall of 3 sessions to make a demo tape for trying to get a contract with a record company. They weren't very lucky with this, only Sting ended up with a contract with Virgin, just only for his songs. Here starts his problem with Virgin which comes to a climax in the eighties.
Well know is the single "Whispering Voices/Evensong" (wudwick WUD/01) which is the only item of Last Exit which was ever released.
Sting latest songs were inspired (copied!) from some of his earlier work. Lets make a comparison between one of his first songs and one from his first solo album.
