Well... What a great show!!! Sound was perfect (quite...), the audience was really really wild and Sting liked it. He couldn't start Moon over bourbon street as the audience was shouting all their throat...Cheb Mami was.....not there... But the backing female vocalist did the job pretty well, and in a pretty original way (more tzigane than arabian...) but hey!...she's not Cheb ;-)
Roxanne lasted more 6 and a half minutes!!! Jason burned the house down on when the world I know more than 50 versions of this song but it never get to this intensity... Just awesome...
All in all a really great night which finished by Martin getting one of Manu's drumstick.... And to shut off the rumour of Manu's weak playing, he was just incredible, he just kicks ass!!! And I found he's got more groove than Vinnie...
The Faith version as changed, it begins with the first verse almost acappella, the musician slowly backing the voice then, Manu destroyed is snare drum on the first chorus where the song really goes on...
So.... Manu is great, Jason is great, Dominic solos was more inventives, he seems to be really enjoying playing tonight And Chris.... well... Just amazing...
So... Good Night, it's now time to go to bed...
