Hey Sting fans, I've been to Stings Concert at Vienna's Stadthalle. About 12.000 people were in the hall. Sayora made the warm up (about 40 minutes). At half past eight Sting and band came on stage. He made a great show this evening. He was in a very good mood (the band as well). Especially the first half of the show he played in a great way, good versions in perfect sound quality and once again a great voice. If he has not chosen yet his songs for his forthcoming CD (live album), probably he will take some of this night (at least I think so). The set list was the same as usual (I'm sorry).

Of course I tried to get on stage, but Sting chose somebody else....A boy with the name Wolfgang and a girl Alex. The boy made a good job, the girl did not sing. The bring on the night version took over 10 minutes - great as usual. I saw different Sting shows, but I think it was perhaps the best ever (it comes very close to the Soul Cages Concert in '91). Lot of arrangements changed from last spring concert (Bozen/Wels).

Sting sang the first verse of MACARENA before starting with Demolition man. Every breath you take seemed to me longer than last year. You still touch me - great acoustic version. But I repeat great performance in the first eight/nine songs. Dominic Miller had some problems with his guitars.

Today I read the articles in the Vienna newspapers. They wrote such bad things about the concert. I even want to tell you what they said. If anybody is interested in these articles, please let me know and I will post them..... Thats it for now......
