I saw Sting on the TSC tour in Copenhagen. Sure, Vinx' 15 minutes in the beginning was cool but then they brought out John Lee Hooker on stage. Man, they literally had to carry the man out on stage and put him on a chair where he mumbled for 30 minutes.
I don't think JLH was supporting Sting where you saw him but in my case, the support act was NOT "more fresh and enjoyable"...
