Saturday night's show at the Shoreline Amphitheater, Mountain View was incredible! I haven't seen audience participation like that in ten years. Sting was extremely playful, and you could really tell he (and everyone else!) was having fun. He made several comments throughout the show about how he was having a really good time, and how "kind" we were. The playing was outstanding again, especially David's. The video (on the large screen) was a million times better than what they showed on pay-per-view. It was alot more creative and interesting. I wish they'd officially release it. He still had a throat problem, but his voice sounded considerably better than it did in LA. The song list was the same as it was at both Hollywood Bowl shows, but there were no special guests. Great great show!
Security was unreasonably tight. I mean, a guard even came over and walked THROUGH the row in front of us. Yeah, the rows have enough legroom to allow for that, but that's ridiculous. I have no idea what he was looking for (my camera?), and all of security was pretty obnoxious that night. I also got knocked pretty hard in the knee as I tried to advance toward the stage at the end.

He's in Italy in early-November, Germany in mid-November, and the UK at the end of November through beginning of December. Then, a bunch of shows in France in mid-December. Then, I suppose it's time for holiday.
