Sunday was a beautiful Halloween night in Arizona. The concert was outside and awesome. Lots of merchandise available- key chains, baseball-style cap, floppy hat, pin, backpack, mug, a cool green long-sleeved shirt but only available at my venue in XL and XXL. Sting's voice was strong and he appeared confident and happy. I had a 3rd row, aisle seat and was very close to the stage. I was jealous reading about previous concerts because security was pretty tight here. No dancing on stage (or even in front of it), no cameras, etc. Small variations in the set. (I also saw him opening night in Las Vegas.) All This Time was back. Every Little Thing was in. I loved the new rendition of Roxanne. In his first encore he took out Lithium Sunset. The second encore was an acoustic version of Message In A Bottle and Fragile. Absolutely mesmerizing. As he finished he was only a few feet from me, so I gathered all the courage I've ever built up in my life and blew past security with a gift for him. I yelled, "Sting." He bent down and I reached up. He took my hand and said thank you. What can I say? It was a moment I'll never forget. Thank YOU, Sting. For everyone attending upcoming shows, you have quite a treat in store. Sting is just the best.
