A new Tascam. A D8 about to be serviced. Questions to retailers about their Neumann SKM140. Hours spent online at work researching blueline AKGs, Schoeps with actives, and the Neumann SKM140 modular components. Trying to decide, yet again, if I can afford the $1500-$2500 or so to upgrade. Hours spent remastering my DAT masters to CDr. That concert chrono. Attempting to plan (albeit briefly) a trip to the US to see my boys, Pearl Jam. Another new deck, this one the portable denon model, long since discontinued. Considering $250 for a "backup" portable a really good investment... Yes...the symptoms are all there -- classic case of live music withdrawal. I need to figure out where I can go on leave to see some good music. Maybe someone is rolling through Oz soon. On a side note, I made my section a litte annoyed this morning at PT when I didn't turn around and head back when they did. I just wanted to run further than that. current mood: productive
