SO last night I was **finally** able to call stateside and cancel my Earthlink Account. I was having trouble getting my phone to connect overseas...line quality still sucked ass but it got the job done at least. The customer service rep liked my email address...they always do. He was cool too--when i told him it had been four months since I had a local access number he refunded the last two months of service fees...he wanted to do more but I guess 2 months is all they can give out. The way I see it, $28 is better than nothing! I was also able to make another stateside along the same lines as the earthlink one. Gaaawd it is such a relief to finally get these things done. This morning I was thinking about my trip home. Things have gotten soooooo built up. Seeing my family, PJ, Jen, Mirella, and a myriad of other people... If I get tickets for all the shows I will be *hugely* tempted to just pay for airfare back to the states (should i miss the AMC flight). I'll have the money to do it--it will just set my ass back a few months. But I don't know...I have this overwhelming confidence that everything is going to just work out perfect. I don't know why... And I finally remembered to bring my cds into the office. heh current mood: optimistic
