It just occured to me how much time I'll be spending at Sea-Tac airport in the next few weeks...

Arriving there on the patriot express.
Leaving there for Oakland.
Returning there again from San Jose.
Leaving there for Chicago.
Returning there AGAIN from Chicago.
Leaving there on the patriot express.

ouch.

Guess I'll be getting quite aquanted with The exhibits there currently.

Jumped today. C-130, Ie Shima, ramp. Nice ride down, decent PLF. Got back in time to shower, eat lunch, and return to work and finalize at least ONE action I've had on my desk for a while now (although I of course picked up more work while there). I hope more of these soldiers just stand tall and take what they have coming, rather than make a huge deal of it and try to fight (and lose). I have a great deal of admiration for the soldier like the one today. No use in dragging something out...if you know you fucked up, you know you're wrong...why not just admit it and take it like a man (or woman)?

I've been giving a lot of soldiers the low-down, offline, lately. I know I'm not supposed to tell them anything, to let them stew in their juices...after all, THEY are the ones made the decisions that brought it all down on themselves. But it's the humanitatian in me just can't help it. I'm too good a person I suppose.

Tommorrow is my last day before signing out on leave. Friday I make my final "christmas" purchases. Saturday I'm OUTTAS here!

Tommorrow...gonna be a LOOOOOOOOONG day tommorrow with all the SHITE I got sitting on my desk right now.

But today, Tonight, Right Now...I drink beer.

I've been so geared up on this vacation, all the logistics: the correspodance with friends and family, the airfare tickets, the concert tickets, the extra concert tickets I'm trying to find homes for, the hotel reservations, the car rentals...

I haven't for a second thought about everything that awaits me on my return.

OK...that's enough thought about what awaits my return. ;)

Now I need to d/c and start in on mastering that show I semi-promised Jen.
