The Question find Rev. Hatch at the Mayor's mansion. Now that he has Hatch he isn't sure what to do with. He is interrupted by his former lover, Myra Connelly, who, to his surprise she is married to drunken Mayor Fermin. She was blackmailed into marrying the mayor by threatening her daughter who she abandoned to the same orphanage where Vic was raised. Myra helps him escape from the Reverend's guards. She asks him to stop the Reverend from blowing up a school bus full of children. The Question locates the bus the terrorists who plan to blow it up. He defuses the situation by ramming his Beetle into the terrorist's van. The young terrorist, desperate for his father's approval makes a second attempt to blow up the bus with dynamite. The Question loses his center and needlessly risks lives and property to remove the dynamite. With the children safe Vic Sage visits little Jackie Connelly at the orphanage where the little gets him to help her make a snowman.
