Mission Statement

We are trying to be your R.E.M. truckstop on the information superhighway. So kick back and travel on down our dirty back roads. We've gathered up an anal collection of links for sites that range from the highly elaborate to the basics.

Some of the sites are great and some of the pages need work. Some sites are resources with lots of information, while others specialize in particular things.

We don't pass judgment on pages here. Instead, we prefer to offer pointers to where you can find about R.E.M. on the 'Net and their fans.

Not so common sense alert: Each page specializes in a certain area. For example, the main archive links to sites dedicated to the band or its members. The fan page offer links to sites that aren't totally dedicated to the band--nonetheless, still interesting. Last, but not least, the commercial site offers links to businesses selling lots of cool stuff.
Of course, if you still find yourself lost, just use the map.

Note: if you're interested in joining the R.E.M. fan mailing lists, you can get instructions from the fan pages.

Sites that have tickled our fancy are marked with bullets of the guys. You have to squint to figure out who they are. The bullets are as follows: yellow is Bill Berry; orange is Peter Buck; red is Mike Mills; and teal is Michael Stipe.

There should be enough stuff on these pages to keep you occupied until the millennium (which is in 2001, 3001, 4001, etc.) or the next R.E.M. tour. Please keep in mind that the World Wide Web (a.k.a., Internet, WWW, Information Superhighway, etc.) is still growing. If it's not listed on this page (or on any of the other link pages), then we don't know about it or it doesn't exist.

Feel free to e-mail us with other links, updates, feedback, etc. We'll try to respond in a timely fashion, but it may take up to two or three weeks.

Someone at NME.com went nutty and decided to recommend this site. Make sure your browser isn't Netscape 3.x. Otherwise, you'll be hating them.
