The Prozac Song.

Back

Hello everybody, hello. I would like to share with you my song about Prozac. It's a pleasant litle ditty. I hope you like it. I've had a few difficulties with the meter but there you go, it's not easy writing valium for the masses.

chorus
Prozac - Defender of the Feeble
Prozac - Gives courage to us all
Prozac - Upholder of the Weak
Prozac - My mental crutch of choice

Oh Prozac I love you when you make me physiologically aroused,
And I love you when you give me headaches,
And I also love you when you take away my appetite,
And when you nuke my sex drive (nuke his sex drive),

chorus

Oh Prozac I love you because you're made by Lilly,
And I love you when my heart beats arythmically,
And I love you when you stop my obsessive compulsions,
But most of all I love you just because you're you!

chorus

Oh Prozac I love you when you selectively inhibit my uptake of seratonin,
And I love your alibi fluoxetine hydrochloride,
And I love your green and white gelatine exterior,
And I love to mix you with alcohol.

chorus

Repeat until tired and frustrated.

This song is copyright FWS 1997, and we're going to record it, maybe, and make no money or rock history, because our marketing sucks. (It couldn't be our music.)

Perhaps you'd care to read what Scarlett Missy says on Prozac, delusions, late 70's/early 80's TV and stuff?
