"Andy Bell On Oasis"

In an interview with Hurricane #1 [formed by Andy Bell - formerly with Ride], Bell says of Oasis:

"I don't mind mentioning it, a lot of Hurricane #1 is not influenced, but inspired by Oasis. They're probably my favourite band ever."

Also in the article is a reference to their producer Steve Harris - also of Kula Shaker's 'K' album fame - who allegedly got a call from Oasis' management during recording with Hurricane.

Bell says, "He came back in with this grin on his face, and goes, 'Guess who just asked me to do their next album?', and I went 'Oasis!', taking the piss. And he goes, 'Yeah, and I turned 'em down."
