This is the CD for everyone that is totally board with the glut of Nu-Metal/Rap-Rock wanna-bes on the scene, and want some good, old fashioned, sleazy rock n’ roll. BC, has managed to take all that was kool from the Hollywood scene of the late 80s (namely the glam punk image, and attitude) and left behind all the crap (spandex, teased hair, etc.) and molded a old-school band with a fresh sound (if that makes any sense?). It should be noted that the signer is none other than Joe LeSte, former vocalist, for the vastly underrated Bang Tango. He has not changed is signing style to fit in with today’s trendy bands, so if you liked Bang Tango for Joe’s vocals, then there is a good chance you’ll did BC. BC is in the zone and at their best on rockers such as "1 A.M." and "Ride". On the other hand we have a couple ballads, such as "Time And Time Again", that are so lame, they could have come from the latest Aerosmith CD... God ballads suck, but I guess they want girls to scream, and blow ‘em in the tour bus, so they slap ‘em on the disc… well, at least we can fast forward easily, unlike the old days with vinyl. So, if you were hangen’ out on the strip in ’88, and miss those days, this is the CD for you. And if you were too young, or still a load in your Dad’s pants, and missed the scene all together, then you should pick this up as well. This is the type of shit that made the scene kool, and why us old bastards remember it so fondly, as a blur of sleaze, booze, sex, drugs, and rock n roll. You don’t think we all praise it because of shit like Warrant do you?
