BRALALALALA :
WELL COME TO THE GALAXY

Bralalalala hails from San Francisco, California, but also spent a short time in Holland and Canada. The image you get when you first see the cover of this disc is mixed indeed, you will think Poison, crossed with Marylin Manson, or some other fetish rocker. The leader vocalist and guitarist of the band, Erala (Jeanne) Jorgensen (Mr.Bralalalala), an apparent cross dresser is totally effeminate on the cover, but all METAL on the CD. This disc, if nothing else, is truly unique. I can't think of any other band that has a sound even close to this. There are times when older Prong, and early thrash and cross-over bands come to mind, but that still isn't quite right. Time changes are rapid, and the untrained ear might be overcome with the barrage of info, and just shut down from pure confusion. The vocals are more spoken or shouted rather than sung, and might be the weakest part of the disc. However, the music is so interesting, you really won't care. This CD could take years to fully sink in. If you have the time to invest, as well as a fine tuned metal pallet, then give this a try. If your average top-40 or Nu-Metal kid tried to play this, they wouldn't have a clue what to make of it. Hell, I can barely wrap my head around it. For more info on this odd, yet compelling musical project, you can find them/him on line at bralalalala.biz.
