DC4 :
VOLUME ONE

DC4 is fronted by Jeff Duncan of Armored Saint fame. Founded in '97, the band also includes Hyland Church on guitar, as well as Jeff's 2 brothers, Matt on bass, and Shawn on drums. This is a very hard disc to categorize, which is how the band likes it. Depending on what song is playing, you can pick out influences from straight ahead hard rock, to glam metal, to early thrash. Their first EP, "Mood Swings", gave the band some exposure in Europe, but the US market is still oblivious… maybe this, their first full length CD can change that, but I doubt it. In North America, you need to be playing the music of the day, (Nu-Metal) or you get ignored by record companies, MTV, and radio stations. Quite a shame, as there is some serious rock on here that deserves to be heard. So, if you are not one of the sheep following the herd, and need some good hard edged, no bullshit, rock/metal, than DC4 should fill the void nicely. For more info, get on over to the bands web page.
