Here are my favourite electronica singles at the moment-If you don't like them kiss my ass. Sorry.
NUMBER 1: Underworld-Moaner
This song is so good, I can't even explain its amazingness. It builds up to a really fast incredible climax and the lyrics rock my fun little world. Check it out on the Batman & Robin soundtrack.
NUMBER 2: Crystal Method-Busy Child
I love this, it's sooo catchy. It sounds like something the Chemical Bros. might have done, which is definitely a good thing.
NUMBER 3: Tranquility Bass-We All Want to be Free
Awesome trippiness here. The slow, thumpy beat is so cool.
NUMBER 4: Goldie-Inner City Life (Rabbit in the Moon Mix)
Yes, yes, I know. This song isn't exactly BRAND NEW, and just about everyone has heard it. If you haven't, well, where have you been? But this 'Rabbit in the Moon' mix is insanely awesome. Insane!!! It's totally superior to the regular version. The beat is heavier, and there are just little changes that make it that much better. Be sure to check it out on Much Music's R U Receiving CD!
NUMBER 5: Prodigy-Voodoo People (Chemical Bros. Remix)
This rocks, literally. It has a really funky rock-music kinda sound, which is cool. I think this remix is better than the original, which is also a great song.
NUMBER 6: Fluke-Atom Bomb
Cool.
NUMBER 7: Chemical Brothers-Elektrobank
Do we think I like Chemical Brothers maybe?
NUMBER 8: Wink-Are You There?
Josh Wink is awesome, and this song has a crazy non-stop beat that sounds even cooler if you turn up the bass so loud you can feel the walls thumping. It's good stuff.
NUMBER 9: Charlatans UK-Nine Acre Dust (Chemical Bros. Remix)
Good old C.B. do a wicked remix yet again... I love the beginning of this song, how it's all slow and quiet and then it just starts real fast. I also like how it kinda leans towards the pop side of music, since Charlatans aren't an electronica band. Try this if you liked Pet Shop Boys remix of Blur's 'Girls & Boys'!!
NUMBER 10: Underworld-Confusion the Waitress
Yeah, Underworld!!!!!
