Here's Ma baby!!! Well, shes gone now... But when she was around she was the love of ma life :) Probably the fastest damn car around... Modified enough to to take on highly modified Mustangs and Camaro SS's (and an M3 ;))

So what is there to say about this baby? Well, first of all if you don't already know what a Typhoon is... Click on the picture below to get some background about what it is...

By the time you read this you should know that she aint mine anymore... She's gone to that great Car Heaven because of a lot of engine trouble (AAW...)

I was racing with a Camaro SS once... Passed him easily from 0-60 and kept going and goin... When I hit 180km/hr something blew up in the engine... Later when i checked things out it turned out to be broken valves and one of the pistons blew out of place... Think the modifications were too much for the car to handle!

Of course I miss her a lot, but I'm getting another baby soon... What on my mind is a convertible mustang :) I got baby Ty back on April 28th 2000... It was imported from the U.S. and it's already been used for one year in UAE by a Saudi college student. The previous owners seemed to take care of the car, not racing it much and everything, but they didn't exactly keep the car in it's best condition...

When I first drove it, it was hard to even try and drive it straight. It was making all sorts of noises every time I hit a bump in the road, it felt like everything in the car was shaking, sometimes it wouldn't even turn on when I turn the key. This is only a tiny list of things that were wrong with it. Stock Typhoons are expected to go 0-60mph in about 5 seconds... This was hardly making 10. It needed some serious re-working. Not only that. On the outside the paint was fading. It had a few accidents and the body was damaged. The chrome paint on the wheels was peeling off... Yet I found this an excellent oppurtunity to rebuild a classic car like this...

I got the car and re-did so much stuff some people were amazed that it was the same car. Other that basically replacing most of the old and worn engine parts, filters etc. And brought it to almost new condition!

One thing I really LOVE about this car is the attention it gets! All I have to do is drive around and people's heads turn! When people realize this is a Typhoon they wanna know more! I've had modified CRX's, Mustangs, Camaro's as well as other cars pull up to me and Revv their engine's wanting to race!!! Most of them were no match! :)
