This album does not get anywhere near the credit it deserves. Boyz II Men truly capture
the spirit of Christmas with "Do They Know" (written by Nate), sing an almost-perfect
rendition of "Silent Night" (which all four produced) and also show us the pain of
Wanya's childhood in "Why Christmas" (written by Wanya).
Christmas Interpretations is well-written, well-produced, and sung even better. The
only problem is that you can only really listen to it about one month out of the year.
I mean, you feel pretty stupid listening to "Cold December Nights" in the middle of July.
Apart from "Silent Night", the individual members of the group have all written
or co-written each of the songs (occasssionally helped out by Brian McKnight),
as well as playing a part in producing all ten tracks on the album.
