THE INTERVAL
This is the basic building block
of chords, scales, and melodies.
It is important to know the difference between 3rds. 4ths, 5ths, 6ths,
7ths, etc., in ascending, and descending order.
Insert 1 LETS
TAKE A LOOK AT THE C MAJOR SCALE EACH DEGREE OF THE SCALE IS CALLED
AN INTERVAL
Insert 2 LEARN THE NAMES AND SOUNDS OF EACH
OF THESE
INTERVALS IN ALL KEYS.
NEXT MONTH WE WILL COVER SOME EXCERCISES THAT
WILL TAKE YOU ALL OVER THE NECK WITH THESE INTERVALS
