September 17: Ben's new solo album is out pretty much everywhere and it is bloody tops. He is touring with his new backing band in the US currently and I've heard they may tour Australia (properly!) early next year.

June 01: RollingStone.com featured an article on Ben's forthcoming solo album Rockin' the Suburbs, including a release date of September 11th! (read it)

May 16: Ben's new solo album is complete and should be released sometime in June (when I find out the official date I'll post it!) with a tour to follow. Meanwhile, I stumbled upon a site called Ben Folds Online at http://www.benfolds.com . Sounds fairly official, but we'll just have to wait and see when it's finished.
The competition I've mentioned to some people (I have two spare copies of the Who Weekly issue with the story about Ben's family to give away) will probably not happen until the BFF fan list the Magical Armchair is up and running again. I want to announce it on there as well as on the site to let more people know... and shamelessly advertise the In-Betweens! Keep checking back here to find out how you can win one of those magazines.
