Go Hopey is a band from São Paulo, Brasil that formed in August, 1998. Three of its members are from São Paulo: Cris (vocal), Helena (bass) and Lu (drums). the remaining member of the band, Michael(guitar), is from Knoxville, Tennessee. inspired by underground american bands(Sonic Youth, Sebadoh) and adopting a sort of version of New York scum rock movement Go Hopey is a mixture of punk rock with guitar.
