» CHAPTER FOUR «

"Dad, I'm - we're going on vacation day after tomorrow" I announced when we were half way through dinner.

"Where are you going and who all's going?" my dad asked.

"Everyone's going to the Bahamas."

"By everyone who do you mean?"

"Me, Alex, Katie, Jenna, Heather, Jackie, Bri, Nick, Kev, and Howie are going for two weeks. We just want some time off from wedding plans and stuff."

"Daddy, where sissy go?" Matthew asked in his adorable baby voice.

"She's just gonna go for a short vacation, but she'll be back" my older brother, David JR, told him softly.

"You better pack if you're leaving day after tomorrow" my dad replied.

"I'm gonna pack tonight that way I have all day tomorrow to spend with my family and the friends that aren't going."

"Good idea" Alex replied. "I think I'll do the same and spend all day with your family tomorrow since my mom is in California."

"Hey, Dave, will you clear the table for me? I wanna go pack" I replied getting up from the table. "I'll do dishes when I'm done packing."

"I'll take Matthew up stairs and play with him" Alex offered.

"I'd help you clean up, Dave, but I gotta get home" Jenna replied putting her dishes in the sink. "Bye everyone. Dinner was awesome, Vicki."

"I'll see you tomorrow, Jenna" I called as she left. "Are you leaving too, Katie?"

"I told Jessi I'd be back before ten tonight. So I'll leave at 9:30."

"Come help me pack then."

"Alright" she replied running up the stairs ahead of me.

"My dad has to go to the office so we're in charge of Matt" I replied walking into my room to find Alex playing with Matthew and Katie going through my clothes.
