"That's because you're predictable," I teased. He smiled viciously. I remarked that he was so cute when he was mad.

"You know you want me, baby," he cracked, "Just give me a holler when you and What's-His-Face break up." He smirked again. "Naw, I am just playin'."

"You'll always be my rebound, Mr. Perfect," I promised him.

"Why don't I just call up Brian and tell him so?" AJ got a devious look on his face as he took out his cell phone.

"I'll do it for you," I told him. That look wiped away as I dialed the number and put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Brian, Mr. Perfect is my rebound. I'll explain later. Bye!" I hung up. AJ was just miffed. "Now let's go, I need to get me a swimsuit. No thanks to you and Nick."

AJ followed me out and snickered. "It was rather ingenious, wasn't it?"

"I hope you two rot."

"Why would you say such a mean thing to your rebound, Mr. Perfect?" AJ teased.
