» CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN «

~ Flashback ~

"What are you doing?" I asked AJ as he took me on the stage.

"A magic trick, my dear," AJ comforted.

"Now my assistant, Nick, will hold up a blanket in front of Ms. Morgan and when I say the magic words, something will disappear from her and end in my back pocket." Nick put up the blanket and AJ scooted next to me, behind the blanket and put his hand on my back. "Bone the Great will now make his magic." He tugged on my bikini strap and placed it in his back pocket. I realized and grabbed the blanket quickly before Nick could drop it. AJ turned his back side to the boys, revealing my top in his back pocket. Then he tapped it with his wand and it disappeared.

~ End Flashback ~

"Lady?" AJ swiped his hands in my face. "Lady? Try this one on." I took the small blue bikini and went in the dressing room. It fit pretty well. I showed AJ. "I like, you like, Brian love," AJ joked.

"Oh shut up..." I shoved him and went back and changed. I went to the cashier and paid for the suit.

"Seriously, it looks stunning on you, Morgan," he remarked.

"Thank you." We walked out to the food court and grabbed some food. I was starving and needed nourishment. I began digging in when my phone rang. "Hello?"

"This is Kevin, Morgan," he said on the other side of the line, "Brian's going nuts without you. I am not playing a prank. He's going insane! Come home soon, okay? And besides, we miss you two."

I laughed. "We're just eating right now, we'll come right after. Tell him that I'll be there in a few... Bye now."

I looked at AJ, who was brimming with an inquisitive look printed to his face. I explained to him and he radiated with joy. "He just misses his baby cakes..." He looked me over. I was wearing a white baby tee and a powder blue mini skirt that AJ INSISTED on me to wear. He added in an imitation of Austin Powers, "But I must admit, you're looking sexy, baby, YEAH!"

"Behave yourself, Mr. Perfect, you might just get smacked in the cheek," I warned.

"And just like a good boy, I'll turn the other one," he said in a jest.

"Let's go, Mr. Perfect," I urged him to finish his McDonalds meal. I observed it, "Must you always get that deep-fried crap? It's so nasty."

"Must you be in the same attitude with me EVERY day?" He threw away his leftovers and grabbed his shopping bag. "You're always nagging at me. It really hurts my feelings, you know." He pretended to cry.

I grabbed his shirt collar and led him to the car. We drove on the dark, empty road and were soon back to where we most wanted to be. Home. I rushed to the door and walked in. "Hey ya'll!"

"Is that my baby I hear calling me?" Brian asked me.

"Hey, dude. I heard you missed me... Am I that irresistible?"

"Yeah, man. I was walking up the walls..." he admitted. He kissed me on the lips delicately.
