» CHAPTER THIRTY «

"And that's part of life." I sat down next to her. "You don't need to get it. And you definitely don't need to be perfect. Another part of life is to make mistakes, learn from them and hopefully don't do it again. And you are a good friend, woman and you are such a great partner. Don't ever let anyone divert you from that either. Just be you. The person I love."

She exhaled, drained of her usual spunk. She cuddled me and kissed my chin. "Let's go home, I'm tired."

~ Morgan’s View ~

We drove home in our cars, both very tired, but obligated to drive home. We reached the house and went inside.

There were all the boys worrying about us. Nick walked up to me first with an angry look on his face. "Where were you? You scared us to death, Morgan! Do you have problems?"

I got crabby. "Yes, I do! And if you don't get over it, asshole, you'll be receiving ‘All I Have To Give.' And I don't mean that in a good way!"

He regarded the subject carefully, but moved away. I stomped upstairs, in a grumpy mood. I settled on the end of the bed. A knock came from the door. "What do you want?"

The door opened. "Lady?" AJ appeared from the crack in the door.

"Oh, hi, AJ," I calmed down.

"You alright?" he interrogated. I shook my head. "Why?"

I didn't know why I was in such a foul mood. It wasn't Brian, or Nick. It wasn't because of what had happened with Bone's head. I felt like I was missing something... But I wasn't sure what.

"I'm missing something, I feel empty. It sounds weird, I know, but I have no idea what," I confessed to him.

He wrapped his arm around me. "Oh, Lady, I dunno what to say... I bet Brian would know, let me get him." He got up and left. A few seconds later, he returned with Bri.

"Hey, baby. AJ tells me you feel empty?" Brian inquired as AJ left the room.
