» CHAPTER NINE «

Nick had called all the guys who had then called their girlfriends and told them about the plan. Everyone was excited. AJ had to go pick Summer up since her car was in the shop, but everyone else had met at the dock.

"Geez guys, do we have enough junk? We could open a pawn shop!" Kevin joked.

"Did anyone bring soda?" Brian asked as he opened the lid to one of the 2 coolers. Brianna walked over to him and whispered something in his ear which no one else heard.

"Baby I'll keep you from getting thirsty", she devilishly told him.

Everyone laughed as Brian's blue eyes grew wide. "You wicked, wicked girl," he joked as he began to chase her around the yard. She screamed and ran away from him. Nick, Kevin, and AJ carried the gear on the boat and got it settled as the girls gathered up the towels and clothing.

"Brian, Brianna come on!" AJ yelled to the frisky couple who were still chasing each other. Once they heard him Brianna sprinted for the boat, running to hide behind Summer.

"Don't let him near me Summer!" she said, gasping for air.

Brian then ran on the boat, stopping in front of Summer. He peered around her to look at his girlfriend. "Hey baby! Come on, little Brian wants some lovin'!" he joked as he smiled the smile that made millions of girls scream. Brianna laughed and stepped out from behind Summer as the boat started. Brian's eyes grew dark as Brianna kissed his jaw, then his lips.

"Aw Rok! Quit! I don't wanna see that!" whined Nick from his position at the wheel of the boat. Skyle was planted right beside him, and she tried to smuggle her grin. Kevin, Ally, Summer, and AJ all sat across from each other and talked as Nick drove for about 20 minutes until they came to a grove of trees. He stopped. The girls all took off their shorts and shirts, revealing their bathing suits.

"Aichawow!" exclaimed AJ as Summer took off her shirt. She had on a neon green, yellow, orange, and red tankini. Her body was curvy and AJ was enjoying it.

"All right lover boy! Your turn!" Summer said, tugging on the hem of his gray wife beater. AJ began to joke around and pretended he was in a strip club, he took off his shirt and swung it above his head.

Summer was laughing so hard she was crying. Along with Kevin and Ally. Then she saw his 69 tattoo.

Summer walked over to him, leaning down to look at it. "Why did you get this?"

"It's my fav number", he told her.

Summer traced it with her finger and he squealed and jumped back. "That tickles!" he exclaimed. Summer made her hands look like claws and started walking towards AJ, he backed up until he hit the seat under the canopy. She laughed and sat down next to him.

Ally and Kevin both were standing on the platform outside the boat when suddenly Ally shoved Kev into the lake. She burst out laughing. He swam over and grabbed one of her legs and pulled her in after him.

"Thanks for making me come Nick" Skyle was telling Nick.

"Don't worry baby, we'll be alone soon enough", he said to her, wiping a wet piece of hair back from her face.

Brian and Brianna were in 1 inner tube together, floating peacefully on the water, enjoying the warm sun. All the couples settled down to each other, oblivious to anyone else.

"Turn around", AJ told Summer. He squirted some suntan lotion into his hand and began to smooth it over her skin. She sighed and relaxed in his massage.

"So AJ, you're in the Backstreet Boys", she blankly said.

AJ stopped dead, not moving. "How did you know?"

"I saw your picture in a magazine in the waiting room at the car place. That is so cool J", she happily told him, trying to calm the fear she knew he was having.

"I was going to tell you Summer, I just had to get to know you first, to make sure you weren't after me for my fame or money".

She turned around and looked him square in the eye. She could see the pain in his eyes, he had been hurt in the past, no way would she do that to him. "I'm so sorry someone did that to you Alex. But I will never, ever hurt you," she whispered. He quietly leaned down and kissed her, talking through this new form of communication between them. AJ's hands smoothed over her as they pulled apart.

"Your turn," Summer smiled.

AJ did as was told and Summer began to rub the lotion on his back. They heard screams from the water and heard Nick yell to Brian something about kicking his butt. Summer kissed the millennium dragon on AJ's back, he shuddered.

"Let's get in the water," he said standing up and taking her hand. Together they both did a cannonball right in front of Nick and Skyle, drenching them.
