» CHAPTER ONE «
"Have you ever wished that instead of becoming a Backstreet Boy you settled down and started a family?" Kevin asked Brian as the guys took a rest from shooting a new video.
"Yes and no. I mean yes because I would like to start a family one day, but no because I don’t think I’m ready yet. Hopefully our careers will be over before I am. Why?" Brian said.
"Well, it’s just that I love kids and I’d like to have my own, but I have no luck with women," Kevin said.
"Hey, check it out," Mary said as she sorted through the mail.
"What is it?" Rebecca asked,
"You’re invited to a Disney World reunion," Mary said.
"What?" Rebecca said, grabbing the invitation. "This is so dumb, I’m not going." Rebecca threw the invitation in the trash.
"Why not?" Mary asked, removing the invitation from the trash.
"Because I worked as Jasmine years ago. Why would I care about a stupid reunion?" Rebecca explained.
"Because Aladdin is Kevin Richardson. Meaning he will be there. Meaning the Backstreet Boys will be there!" Mary exclaimed.
"So what do you think I should do, adopt a kid?" Kevin asked.
"Hey guys, big news," Donna said, busting through the door.
"What is it?" Howie asked.
"I got a call requesting you guys perform at a Disney reunion in honor of Kevin working as Aladdin," Donna said, pointing to Kevin.
The guys all turned their gaze to gaze, waiting for his answer. "Let’s do it," he said.
"Great. I’ll tell them and we can be on our way," Donna said.
"I overheard you talking to Brian and I think if you wanna kid, go for it," Nick said, patting Kevin’s shoulder.
Two days later, the guys were on the plane headed for Disney World.
"Why did I let you talk me into this?" Rebecca whined as she took her seat on the plane that would take them to Florida.
"Because I’m a huge Backstreet Boys fan you got the hots for Aladdin," Mary said.
"No, I told you he was a sweet guy but we’re just friends."
"You can’t just be friends with someone who looks this good," she said, pointing to Kevin’s face on the poster she was holding. "There should be laws against looking this good!"
Rebecca couldn’t help laughing. Mary was always the funny one, always laughing and always cracking jokes. Meeting her for the first time, you can see that her sense of humor shines through.
"Hi, I’m Rebecca Rows. I was told to check in here at the front desk," Rebecca said.
"You and your guest will be staying in room 315," the woman at the desk said, smiling sweetly.
"Thank you," Rebecca said, grabbing the key as she and Mary headed upstairs.
