» CHAPTER TEN «

Mary awoke to the sound of loud knocking. She quickly brushed her hair, washed her face, and brushed her teeth. She opened the door and to her surprise it was Christian. "Christian!" Mary exclaimed as she jumped into his arms. He swung her around and they began kissing.

"Good morning," Kevin said as he entered the room.

"Hi," Rebecca said as she stretched. She noticed that Kevin was staring and then realized that she was still naked. Rebecca quickly grabbed the sheet and covered herself.

Kevin laughed. "You’re so cute," he said.

"Not as cute as you," Rebecca teased.

"So how do you feel?" Kevin asked as he made his way over to the edge of the bed.

"Fine," Rebecca said.

"Well I know that, but how do you feel?" Kevin continued.

"Well I don’t feel pregnant if that’s what you’re asking," Rebecca said.

"Damn," Kevin said, snapping his fingers. "I guess we’ll just have to try it again."

"Please, you know you want to," Rebecca said.

"Are you sure you wanna get dressed right away?" Kevin asked, running his hand over her leg.

"Yes I’m sure," Rebecca said.

"Damn," Kevin said again.

Rebecca got up and walked into the bathroom naked. Then she peeked her head out from the doorway. "Sorry," she said with a smile.

"Oh God I missed you," Christian said.

"I missed you too." Mary rolled on top of Christian on the bed. Just then there was a knock at the door. "I’ll get it," she said as she pulled a shirt over her head.

"Hi," Nick said. "Do you wanna go to the beach?" Nick stepped into the room and noticed Christian. "Oh, I’m sorry."

"Who are you?" Christian asked suspiciously.

"Oh, just a friend," Nick said.

"Let’s keep it that way," Christian said. Nick left and Christian got up. "Look, while I’m here I’m gonna visit my Grandma. I figured I’ll get it out of the way now so I can spend the rest of my time here with you."

"Okay," Mary said with a smile. Christian kissed her on the forehead and left.

Nick, who hadn’t gotten too far away, saw this and seized the opportunity. Mary was getting very frustrated and answered the door. "Hi," Nick said.

"Hi," Mary said, sounding surprised. "I thought Christian might have scared you away."

"He kinda did," Nick admitted.

"Then why are you here?"

"Because I saw him leave."

"Well you know he could be back any minute. You’re taking a big risk," Mary stated.

"But you’re worth it," Nick declared. At that moment Nick and Mary kissed.
