» CHAPTER ELEVEN «

"Well," J.c began, looking up from his drink. "Looks like it’s just us."

"Yeah, just us." She looked up into his sparkling blue eyes and smiled. They began to continue with small talk until a good looking brunette guy walked up. He smiled a half grin at Jazlyne and then spoke.

"Hi, I’ve been watching you from across this club all night trying to get up the guts to talk to you." Jazlyne stared at him curiously. Why was such a good looking man using lines like this? "May I ask your name?"

"Jazlyne," she said smirking. "And yours?" She liked this attention she was getting from guys tonight.

"Kavana, well you see I was wondering if you would like to dance. I know I’m taking a crazy chance, but I saw you once upon a time in a dream of mine." J.c huffed under his breath. What a lame line. I could do better, I could sweep her off her feet.

"Hey J.c, you think you’ll be okay by yourslef for a while?" Jazlyne replied breaking his thoughts.

"Yeah, you go and have fun." Jazlyne smiled as she took Kavana’s hand. He led her out to the floor giving J.c. a cheeky smile. J.c felt his stomach bunch up as the two danced close together.

"Hey J.c, where’s the others?" Alexis asked as her and Lance sat down. He pointed out to the floor then spoke.

"Justin and Sky left in a hurry and Jazlyne is out on the floor dancing with him." Alexis and Lance noticed how he was looking at Jazlyne.

"Hey J.c, can we talk?" Alexis asked. he broke his gaze and turned back to them.

"Sure, what’s up?" Alexis smiled at him and pointed towards Jazlyne.

"Now can I ask you a question and you be totally honest?’
