» CHAPTER TWENTY «

~*~ Outside the Bus~*~

"Hey bro. What's up?" Jazlyne asked as she helped her brother pickup some of his luggae.

"Nothin much, just waitin till I can get some sleep on this bus." He replied back as he stared towards the Nsync bus.

"Jaz, aren't those the guys you like. Ya know NLINE?" Jazlyne sent him an agravated glare and looked towards the bus. She smiled warmly at J.C and winked flirtatiously. He grinned back and was about to walk up to when he noticed the look her brother was giving him. J.C  saw Usher say something to her and her ever present smile fell. She quickly turned away and marched angerily towards the bus door.
 

~*~ Back in the Bus ~*~

As Alexis pulled back slowly from the kiss she felt her ears get warm. She stared into Brian's bright blue eyes and saw something there she had never seen in them before when he looked at her. What it was and when it got there she couldn't quite figure out, but she knew she was glad it was present now.

"Wow." Brian half whispered, caressing her cheek with the back of his hand affectionately. Alexis shifted her gaze slightly towards Brian's soft lips she had just been kissing a minute ago.

"Hey Lex, can I ask you something?"

"Anything." Alexis breathed, smiling shyly.

"Do you think this was a mistake? I mean, am I the only one who feels something here? If I am just tell me now, so I won't push this any farther. I don"t want you to..." Brian was cut off by the warm feeling of Alexis' lips pressed firmly against his once again. He ran a hand softly through her inky black hair, placing his free arm gently but firmly around her slender waist.

Brian pulled back abruptly as he heard voices coming from behind the bus door.  Alexis' olive green eyes pierced into Brian's blue eyes with a hurt and confused expression. Brian hopped off the floor quickly, grabbing Alexis' hand with his. The two walked back into the entertainment room where he shut the door behind them quietly.

"What's going on Brian? We were so .....so into each other out there and then..." Brian placed a finger gently to her lips, to silencing her. He motioned towards the window where Jazlyne was now boarding the bus unhappily.

"Sorry Lex, but had to stop your rambling. When we were in the kitchen I heard someone outside of the bus, Jaz. I don' know if anyone should know about us right now. I mean what is this? Are we a couple? Friends? What's A.J
gonna say? Aww man he's gonna kill me!" Brian exclaimed, plopping down on one of the couches in the small room. Alexis kneeled down in front of him taking both his hands loving in hers. She intertwined her fingers with his and kissed each finger softly.

"Bri, we'll figure this out together. No one needs to know for now I agree. I know one thing for sure about this though."

Brian stared at her grin curiously.

"What's that?" Alexis stood up and made sure the entertainment room door was locked. As she walked back towards her now completely interested audience she licked her lips slowly. When she got back to Brian she sat down casually
on his awaiting lap.

"I like it." She whispered hoarsely as she pressed her lips roughly against his. Brian felt his heart race as she ran her hands through his hair, playing teasingly with the curls on the back of his neck. He held onto her hips tightly as he parted her lips with his tongue. Alexis felt herself getting lost in the kiss, the feeling of his lips against hers made her mind zoom. She had lost all realization of her surroundings until she heard a knock at the door.

"Lex, Bri? You two in there?" Jazlyne questioned
