» CHAPTER EIGHT «

"You okay?" he asked with sincere concern. Even though he had only met her tonight, he felt something. Just by looking at her he seemed to smile more. She made him forget about Nadia. All his hurt and pain was drained from him as she smiled up at him. Her gentle touch sent chills through his spine.

"Yeah, just want to sit down tired." J.C nodded as he led her back to the table. As they sat down they noticed that everyone was there, including another girl. Jazlyne tensed up when she saw her. Does J.C have a girlfriend too?. She looked over at Alexis and gave her a half smile. Alexis figured out what was wrong and nudged Lance. He nodded and spoke up.

"Jazlyne, this is Sky. Justin’s girlfriend," he said watching Jazlyne let go of the breath she had been holding in unintentionally.

"Hey," she replied happily. Sky threw out her hand for Jazlyne to shake.

"I’ve heard alot about you. I’ve met your brother a few times and Alexis kinda filled me in on the rest," she smiled brightly and leaned her head on Justin’s shoulder.

"Oh, cool. What did you say Lexi?" she replied raising an eyebrow at her friend. Alexis smiled innocently and shook her head.

"Nuffin really. Just what music you like and who in them..... I mean which bands," she smiled mischievously as Jazlyne sat down.

"What exactly did you tell Lex Mex?" she looked across at the group. Sky smiled at her and nodded knowing what Jazlyne thought. Jazlyne threw Alexis a look.

"Hey Lance, ya still wanna go on that walk?" she asked suddenly. Everyone laughed as she hopped out of the booth grabbing his hand.

"Yeah run now Alexis," she said laughing slightly as they walked away. "I’ll get you when you get back to the room."
