» CHAPTER THREE «

They squished into the BSB van, with the bodyguards sitting up front, and 10 people crammed in the back. There wasn't enough room for them all to sit on seats, so Brian had to sit on the floor, AJ, Kev and Megan went onto the first seat in the back, Jackie, Waverly and Nick sat on the next seat, and Krissy, Lacey and Howie went on the back, back seat.

None of the girls had been to The Max before. It looked like an old wooden house from the outside, apart from the neon lights outside. There was a short hall way and it opened up into a huge room, but it was split into two, upstairs and downstairs. As soon as we got in, Kev, Howie, AJ, Krissy, Wave and Lace, started dancing. Megan, and Jackie held back for a while, they never fully got into the groove straight off, so they went with Brian and Nick to the bar.

They started getting down with their bad selves, but Waverly seemed a little distracted. "Be back in a tick," she said, leaving the group, heading towards the bar.

"Where's she going?" Howie asked.

"To chat up someone" Lacey replied.

"Wanna drink?"

"Sure" Everyone agreed.

Howie followed Waverly to the bar, and came back a few minutes later with a few bottles of wine cooler.

"Wave's chatting up Nick! Who would wanna do that?"

"Waverly" Krissy said, laughing. They started dancing again, trying not to spill their drinks.

About an hour later, everyone had joined them on the floor, and everyone had had a glass or two to drink.

"I'm going to sit down, get an o.j. kay?"

Lacey wandered off to the bar and sat down. She was a little tired, she had been dancing for an hour straight. She watched the others on the dance floor, and smiled to herself, as she sipped her orange juice. She was grateful to the change of taste in her mouth. Howie hadn't chosen the greatest flavour of drink for her. Actually it tasted gross. She would rather have had a vodka and lime drink.

"Hi there sweetheart."
