» CHAPTER THIRTEEN «

In the next few days, Howie, Jenny, and Kelly, go back on the road with the guys. They had a few more places to perform, but after that, they will get a summer break. Paula was a little uncertain about Jenny traveling, but everyone convinced her that she'll be all right. They all get on the plane, and they travel to California. Jenny leaves Sweetie with Paula and Hoke during the tour. The group meets at the airport a few hours later, and talk about the holiday. No one tells the guys about Jenny being pregnant. They wanted it to be a surprise. They all go to a hotel, and they unpack their clothes. As soon as that was done, Jenny and Kelly goes to the guys room and they get ready for the surprise. Howie doesn't say anything to the guys. Everyone is sitting around the room, and Jenny decides that it was the best time to say something. She looks at Howie, who's sitting next to her, and he nods. Jenny faces everyone.

"Okay guys, I have a surprise for you. Well, over the holiday break, I found out something, that is going to shock a lot of you. Howie and I found out, that I'm pregnant."

The guys look at her in shock. Howie smiles and faces the guys. They both start laughing at the sight of the guys. The guys start smiling and laughing as well, and congratulates them. After all of the congratulations, they all talk about the tour.

"Well, we have a couple of places to perform here, and then we'll have a break. We can hang out over the summer." A.J. suggests.

Kevin thinks of something, and speaks up, "Jenny, when are you due?"

Jenny smiles, "I'll find that out soon, but it'll be during the summer. There's no worries there."

Everyone nods, and they all get ready for the first week of rehearsals. They performed in many venues and areas for charities. All of the performances go very well. As the weeks progressed, Jenny also progressed. She goes to find a doctor's office, to get a physical. She finds one that she likes, and makes an appointment. A few days later, Jenny goes to the doctor's office,
and gets a little nervous. Howie goes with her.

A man walks in, "Hi Jennifer, I'm Dr. Avacado, how are you today?"

"I'm fine, just a little nervous."

"Nothing to be nervous about, all right, let's listen to the baby's heart here, shall we?"

He puts some jelly on her stomach, and a monitor. A loud beat fills the room. Howie and Jenny smile, and listens to it.

"Hmmm, interesting." Dr. Avacado says.

Howie looks nervous, "What is it? Is something wrong?"

Dr. Avacado shakes his head, and smiles. "No, I don't think so... Let's look at an ultrasound, shall we?"

He brings the ultrasound machine over to the table, and places a large monitor on Jenny's stomach, and looks at the screen.

"Yep, just as I suspected."

He smiles at Jenny and Howie, and shows them the screen, "It looks like you have more than one baby in there."

Howie looks at him in shock, and Jenny is looking at the screen, shocked as well.

"More than one? How many is there?" Howie exclaims.

Dr. Avacado looks at the screen and shows him, "Well, there appears to be three."

Howie stares at the screen. He starts to hyperventilate. He leans forward and puts his hands on his knees as if he just finished a running marathon. Jenny laughs at the sight.

"Howie, calm down. It's okay."

Dr. Avacado laughs as well.

Howie looks up at the monitor.

"Triplets? We're having triplets?!" Howie exclaims.

Dr. Avacado smiles and nods. Howie laughs and sits down on a chair, before he faints. After the check-up, Dr. Avacado tells them what to expect, and to remind them to make an appointment when they get home. He congratulates them, and they leave the office.

"What are we going to tell the guys?" Howie laughs.

Jenny shakes her head, "I don't know, I'm a little worried about your parent's reaction, and Kelly's."

They laugh, and go back to the hotel. The guys and Kelly are waiting for them in the guys room, talking about the tour. Jenny and Howie walk in the room and sits down on the couch. The guys continue talking. They prepare for the guys' reaction.

Howie starts, "Ahem! Well guys,"

The group looks up at them.

"We just found out, that we might be parents of more than one baby."

Everyone turns speechless, especially Kelly. Jenny starts laughing at all of the faces, and then continues what Howie started.

"I'm carrying triplets." she states.

They are even more speechless, and when they find their voice, they exclaim numerous "Congratulations.", and goes up and hugs them.

Howie, and Jenny decide not to tell his parents, or his family, until they get home. A few weeks later, Jenny starts to show, and is getting very hard to hide the baby. Soon, it was too much to hide, so the guys decide to have a press conference. At the conference, Jenny sits next to Howie, and answers as many questions as she could.

"Jenny, how does it feel to perform with the band?"

"It's a great thing for me to do. I love it very much."

"How long have you been with the band?"

"About a year, or so."

"Are you pregnant with any of the guys' baby?"

Howie answered that one, "The baby belongs to Jenny and me. We plan on getting married, after the tour, and it's not because of the baby. I found out we were pregnant after I proposed to her."

"How long have you been pregnant?"

"I'll be due in a few months." and that was that.

It didn't go as bad as she thought it would be. Finally, it was the last performance of the tour. The guys were getting ready for the first segment. Jenny wears the same outfit throughout the entire concert, so she had nothing to worry about. The concert was a complete success. The guys were free for the rest of the summer. They had no more worries about touring, performing, and living out of a suitcase. Howie, Jenny, and Kelly, went back to Florida, with A.J. and Nick. Everyone said good-bye at the airport, and tell each other that they'll see each other again, at the wedding, and at the babies' birth.
