» CHAPTER THREE «

At the hotel, the guys help the girls check in, and they head to their rooms. The girls get a room with two beds in it, right across the hall from the guys. The guys are not real tired, so they decide to ask the girls to join them and hang out. Brian calls them up on the phone. Jenny answers.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Jenny? This is Brian."

"Oh, Hi Brian. What can I do for you?"

"Well, the guys and I are pretty bored, so we decided to ask you and Kelly over to our room, and we can hang out. We'll watch videos and Nick wants to challenge Kelly to a video game." He smiles at Nick. Nick looks back, shocked.

"Sure, we'll be there in a few minutes, okay?"

"Okay, Bye."

"Bye"

They hang up. Jenny yells for Kelly. Kelly walks out of the bathroom drying her hands.

"Kelly, that was Brian. The guys want us to go to their rooms and hang out. Nick wants to play a video game with you too. Do you want to go?"

"Sure! Let's go!"

The girls go across the hall and knock on the door. Brian answers. "Hi girls, come on in." He holds the door open for them.

The girls walk in and sees the guys sitting around the room doing various things. Kevin is reading a book, A.J. is in the bathroom, trimming his goatee. Nick is getting the video game set up for him and Kelly to play, Howie is laying on the bed, looking at a magazine, and Brian is sitting at the table sorting through videos to watch.

"Hi guys, how's everyone doing?" Jenny asks walking in the room. She sits next to Howie and watches Nick and Kelly start the game.

"Fine, how are you?" Howie asks.

"Fine, thank you."

Kelly and Nick play on the Playstation and Kelly is beating Nick at Nascar 2000.

"I'm going to get you soon!" Nick yells trying to keep up.

Jenny starts to laugh at him. "I think Nick found his match."

Howie smiles and chuckles himself. "Hey guys, check out Nick!" The guys watch the two players, but in the end, Kelly wins.

"No fair! I want a rematch!" Nick yells, pouting. The guys moan at this.

"Nick, we want to watch a video. Can't you play another time?" Kevin states.

"No! I want a rematch! Come on Kelly, once more, right here, right now!" Nick challenges.

Kelly mockingly answers with an "OOOOOOOH," Everyone looks at Nick, laughing.

"Well, Kelly. Looks like Nicky here, wants to challenge you. Are you up for it?" A.J. answers.

"Don't call me Nicky!" Nick pouts.

Jenny shakes her head, rolling her eyes. The guys laugh again. "Well, I want to watch a video, if no one else does, I'm going to my room and watch it myself," Jenny says, getting up.

Howie gets up too. "What video do you want to watch?" Howie asks.

"I'm going to watch "The Outsiders". Does anyone want to watch with me?"

"Sure! How about in my room?" Howie exclaims.

"Okay," Jenny answers, smiling.

"I'm going to watch something else in my room, does anyone want to join me?" Kevin asks.

"I will, I don't want to watch "The Outsiders" again. How about you, Nick?" Brian asks.

"I'm still waiting for Kelly to accept my challenge to another game. How about it, Kelly?"

"Okay, okay, if it'll make you feel better. Nick and I will stay in here and play some games."

The others laugh, and goes to their separate rooms, except for Nick and Kelly. They are already starting on the second game. Howie and Jenny goes to Howie's room. Jenny calls the main desk.

"Hello, main desk. How may I help you?"

"Hello, I would like to order "The Outsiders" to watch, please," Jenny answers.

"Hold on, please." Jenny waits, and the clerk comes back on the phone. "We have one copy left, would you like to pay in cash, or charge?"

"Charge to the room, please."

"It'll be coming up shortly, ma'am."

"Thank you." She hangs up.

Howie and Jenny watch the movie in his room. A while later, Jenny is laying down on the bed, and is starting to fall asleep. Howie sees this and smiles, he pulls a blanket over her, he kisses her on the head, and Jenny smiles. They continue watching the movie and they fall asleep, with the movie still running. Kelly goes in the room and turns off the tape. She goes to bed in her room.

The next day, Jenny wakes up to an empty bed. She looks around, and tries to remember what happened last night. She remembers Howie and the guys and her falling asleep in Howie's room, watching "The Outsiders". She gets up and goes to the living room. She sees Nick and Kelly playing video games again.

"Have you been playing games all night?"

"No, we just started. How was your sleep?" Kelly replies, smiling.

"Fine, where are the other guys?" Jenny asks.

"Went to get breakfast," Nick replies.

"Oh, okay. I'm just going to take a shower back in our room. Okay?" Kelly nods and continues playing with Nick. Just as Jenny gets in the shower, the guys comes back with McDonald's for breakfast.

"Where's Jenny? Is she still sleeping?" Howie asks, looking around.

"No, she's in the shower," Nick says.

Howie smiles, and goes to Jenny's room. He walks in and knocks on the bathroom door. "Jenny? You in there?"

"Be right out!"

Howie goes back to his room, and starts to eat breakfast. A few minutes later, Jenny walks in the room, and sees the food. "You got breakfast at McDonald's, I see." She smiles and starts to pick up food to eat.

After breakfast, they are all sitting around talking about what to do. "We need to do something," Kelly states.

"We can show them the town, go shopping, and go to Great America. How about that?" Jenny says, looking at Kelly.

"Great!"

The guys look at each other, and smile. "That sounds like a great idea. And, would it be all right, if I bring a friend?" Brian asks.

The girls nod. Brian goes to the phone and dials a number. The phone rings. "Hello?"

"Hi, LeighAnne? It's Brian. Do you want to hang with the group today? We have some free time today, and some girls want to show us the town."

"Sure! I need to get away from the crew and everyone. Who are the girls?"

Brian smiles, "You'll see, when you get here. Bye." He hangs up. "She'll be here in a few minutes."

The guys get their things ready, and the girls go to their room, to straighten up, because after they finish with the park, they'll go home. After they're done, they go back to the guys room. The guys are ready. A few minutes later, LeighAnne comes over. Brian answers the door.

"Hey, LeighAnne."

She walks in the room, to see Jenny sitting next to Howie on the couch, and Kelly sitting on the floor, playing another video game with Nick. Brian introduces them.

"LeighAnne, meet Jenny and Kelly. They are going to hang out with us."

Jenny gets up and walks toward her. "Hello, It's nice to meet you." She offers a handshake.

LeighAnne accepts, "Hello, nice to meet you too." She looks at the guys and looks for an explanation. Brian tells her what happened. After the story was told, LeighAnne smiles. "I see, well, what are we going to do today?"

The guys told her the plans, and she agrees to come along. Jenny and LeighAnne become good friends. They started talking like old friends, about anything that came to mind. They all head out to do some shopping, Howie got Jenny a friendship ring, and Nick gets Kelly a necklace. Then they head to Great America theme park.
