» CHAPTER SEVEN «

While the guys are recording and rehearsing, they talk about the girls and all that happened in the past week.  First, Brian's dog runs away, they meet the girls, Howie starts liking Jenny, They invite the girls to the concert, the girls stay overnight in the hotel, Leigh-Anne is introduced to the girls, they all go to the theme park, Howie and Jenny go out, the boys go to movies with Kelly, they meet Max, Kelly is kidnapped, and now Max is in jail, and they are all going on tour, including the girls.

"Whew!! I don't think I had this much excitement in all of my life. And all this happened in a week." Kevin states, during a break.

"I know, I met Jenny, and I really like her, but, did you realize that we are the cause of most of the drama. I mean...with Kelly's kidnapping, and Max." Howie sighs, looking at the guys.

"And now, the girls are coming with us, on tour. And to think, my dog is the first thing that happened in this." Brian smiles.

"You know what guys, I think that since Jenny and Howie are going out... maybe I should ask Kelly out. I mean, she's 15 years old, and I'm 19. It seems right. Don't you think?" Nick asks.

Kevin looks at Nick, shocked. "Nick, Howie and Jenny are adults.  They CAN go out. Kelly is still a minor."

Howie nods, "I was thinking the same thing."

Nick agrees. "Yeah, I'll just be friends with her....for now."

He smiles. The guys laugh.

"Hey Howie, you know what? It seems like we know Kelly as much as we know Jenny, except for one thing... how old is she?" Nick asks.

Howie thinks, and smiles. "You know, I don't know either! I don't even know her birthday." He laughs.

Kevin looks at Nick, "Hey, Nick. How do you know Kelly's 15?"

"She told me at Great America, one time."

The guys laugh. Denise, A.J.'s mom, comes in. "Hey guys, let's get this finished, we need to get back on the road soon. And I'll need one of you to call the girls and have them come to the hotel sometime before we leave. I need to let them know what they are getting in to, with the tour group."

The guys get up and they go back to the studio, and kept rehearsing. After the songs were done, Howie calls Jenny's house.

Jenny answers the phone, "Hello?"

"Hi, Jenny. It's Howie, we need you and Kelly to come to the studio. Denise needs to talk to you about the tour. Can you come today?"

"Yeah, we'll be there. What time?"

"Oh...about 5:00, is that all right? We can send for transportation, too."

"That's fine, I'll see you at 5:00 then, okay?"

"That's great, Oh! one more question. It's kinda personal...."

"uh oh, What is it?" Jenny smiles.

"Nothing bad, don't worry. I just wanted to know... How old are you?" He starts laughing.

"What?" she laughs.

"How old are you? We know Kelly is 15 years old, but don't know about  you, so..."

"Oh, I see. Well, if you must know... I'm 23 years old. Okay?"

"Okay, I'll see you later, at 5:00, Okay?"

"Okay." Jenny nods.

"Okay, Love you. Bye."

"Bye" Jenny smiles, knowing that Howie didn't hear what he just said, but she did, and she smiles very brightly.

As soon as Howie hangs up the phone, he realizes what he did say and smiles. Brian walks in and sees Howie laughing a little, and starts to wonder what's happened.

"Howie? What's so funny?"

"I just slipped up, I told Jenny I loved her, again! It just slipped out, but the thing is...I DO love her. I really think I do."

Brian smiles and pats Howie on the back.

"Good for you, Howie." and walks back to the studio.

Howie smiles and follows Brian out of the room, and meets the guys. Brian just told the others what Howie told him, and they start laughing at him.

"So....Howie, what did Jenny do when you told her?" Kevin smiles.

"She didn't say anything...except good-bye. I don't think she heard me, but I'll make sure she hears me when I see her again. Excuse me, I need to get Jenny and Kelly a limo and take her to the studio."

Howie calls for a limo. The guys decide to stay, and help Denise with any information that she needs to tell Jenny and Kelly.
