This is a short profile on
Dax Riggs that was written by a close friend of his
(as you can see, it was written before
Agents of Oblivion was formed)
Dax was born in Evansville, Indiana. After a
particularly horrible year with a weird stepfather, he escaped to
live with his Dad and older brother in Louisiana. He does nothing but
think about his music, try to write more music and dream of the days
when he will be performing again. His experiences with two
stepfathers surely explain his familiarity with rage. But in real
life that rage never appeared; it was all in his music. Maybe living
with his real Dad has mellowed him out, lyric-wise. Unfortunately,
Dax is no longer with his long-time girlfriend, whom he had not made
enough time for, because of his complete devotion to music. Maybe
that will change back. He is not in the market for any new girlfriend
either. He is married to his music. Dax says he is not in a band. He
denies the rumor that he is.
