Chapter 1

Liz escaped into the bathroom and lowered her head. Her boyfriends family was

so suffocating, and his sister, there wasn't a word for what she was.

“If I wasn't destined,”
but she cut that thought.

She was and there was nothing she could about it. She heard someone calling her

name through the door and leaned back against it. She put her patented smile in

place,

“time to go get that Oscar,”

she said to her reflection, but she couldn't shake the felling that something was

going to happen........*something* that would change everything.

Max drove to the bus station at a frantic pace. He had to leave now! He looked at

his busted bloody knuckles on the wheel and his bloodied nose in the window and

felt his resolve strengthen. He parked in front of the station and left his car, he

didn't care what the city would do with it, and ran to the teller window. When she

saw the bloody, slightly dirty, handsome man she knew it was none of her business

and asked,

“name and location?”

but he seemed to be far away.

“I have to go to the place I've been dreaming,”
he thought anxiously,

“it's pulling me more than ever now.”

He then noticed the woman looking at him and focused on the words she'd just

asked him.

“Maxwell Guerin and Roswell, New Mexico,”
he replied.

After the party they went to the Crashdown. Micheal and Isabel Evans on one side

Elizabeth Parker on the other.

“But mich…..”

“no Liz,”
he cut her off.

“We're getting married, leaving Earth and theres nothing you can do about it,”
he said echoing her earlier words.

He then sat back with a smug smile on his face and she felt he knew that already

though.

“Don't fight it”
he said in a calming tone,

“it's destiny......you won't win, it always does.”
