Bubba Sparxxx - Ugly I love this song! Yo, does Tim ever stop? Anyway, the first single from the first act signed to Timbaland's Beat Club records. Bubba comes off like Ludacris on the sequel to "Get Ur Freak On". Everyone listen for my favorite part at the end too. Monifah - Peaches and Cream I heard this song yesterday on digital cable while I was cleaning house, and I liked it. So I downloaded and I've been listening to it since. Cee-lo - Sexual Chocolate This song, from the Violator 2.0 Compilation, brings us the most creative cat from the Goodie Mobb, on some George Clinton, P-Funk type ish, and it's lovely. I thank a friend of mine (Shawn, yea I shouted you out, don't let it get to that already big head of yours) for telling me about it. The Beatnuts feat. Fatman Scoop - Let's Get Doe I've liked this song for a while now, but I never got to put it up on my list, so here it is. Purely club material here. Ludacris feat. LL, Keith Murray & Pharrell - Fatty Girl Yet another club hit from the Neptunes, but this time I'm feeling it more than usual. Ludacris comes tight, as usual, while LL seems out of place (let it go LL, you rich, your job is done) and Mr. Murray is a welcome guest on this track. |
| Albums - Res - How I Do I had to bring this cd back into rotation. I don't know, but for the past couple of weeks, this and the two below are all I've been listening to, album-wise. Aaliyah - Aaliyah Okay, it's official, I had issues. What was I thinking when I first reviewed this cd way back when? This is the best RnB album of the year (I'm sorry, my fellow OKPs, Bilal just ain't doing it for me.). I love this cd y'all. I think I might have to do a re-review. Missy Elliott - Miss E... So Addictive Ah, I cannot get tired of this cd. It's just so much going on here, that there's no reason for me to put it down. The Timbaland and Magoo album needs to hurry up and drop, so I have some other brilliance to listen to. |
| Well, my music tastes ranges. I don't limit myself when it comes to music. I listen to everything from Missy and Jay-Z to Fiona Apple and Bjork. The one thing I don't listen to is hard metal and most country, but sometimes a country song comes along that's hot and I can't help but bump it. |
