20000309: Epson Stylus Printers Caution

March/2000
Tech Note #9

If you are troubleshooting an Epson Stylus printer, please note that unlike the cartridges in other inkjet printers, Epson Stylus cartridges can only be installed once. If you remove a cartridge from an Epson Stylus printer, it must be discarded. If you suspect a defective cartridge, make sure you try the nozzle cleaning utility several times before discarding the cartridge. Reinstalling a used cartridge will not work properly and may damage the printer.
